What’s in a uniform?

Uniform – “the distinctive clothing worn by members of the same organization or body”

Regalia, livery, habit, suit, garb – whatever you want to call it, we have all worn a uniform at one time or another.

 Love them or loathe them, they must have something going for them, because they’ve been with us since at least the beginning of the Roman Empire.

 

 Here at First Scene we keep a massive uniform collection – we have to! Our uniforms appear regularly in national theatre productions, school plays, short films, movies, tv shows, commercials and music videos.

With the coming of the 100 year anniversary of World War I recently, we have been inundated with requests for uniforms of the era.
